In order to make entry on the devices easier as well as to provide consistency with descriptions you have the ability to establish a number of drop-down menus.
Drop-down list menu selections:
Hourly Rate (a drop-down on the labor tab - normally used by the field when doing COD work orders)
Problem Found (the problem found as described by the technician, this is printed on the work order, not mandatory)
Purchased Material (used to assist in processing field PO's)
Recommendations (printed on the work order , also part of handling field recommendations)
Supplier - (the supplier name will be available on the mobile device)
Work Done (a key item as it is printed on work orders as well as various reports - mandatory)
List for Web Only
Work Requested - Used when dispatching work orders.
Other Lists for the Device
Check Lists - These will show on the printed invoices and work-orders as well as be used when setting up maintenance contracts.
